The opportunities for ministry at the Hope Community Care Centre and the Salvation Army Ajax and Pickering Community Family Services
are endless. Our Ajax/Pickering location is one of 20 Family Services offices in the GTA. Family Service Workers assist clients with both practical and spirtual needs as requested. Various support groups, programs and referrals are offered for individuals, single parents and families. Please click on a service that interests you. We offer:

Food & Clothing Assistance
Our office provides food and clothing assistance for residents of the Ajax and Pickering communities. We are open every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 am -12noon and 1:30 pm - 4 pm.
Fresh bread is available every day we are open, and clients are welcome to help themselves on these days.
Christmas Assistance
At Christmas our festive program provides help for the less fortunate families from our communityl Family food "Hampers" and toys are available for each child aged 14 and under.
Camp Sponsorship
During the summer we sponsor children to attend "Fresh-Air" camp. These camps are located in the scenic areas of Lake Simcoe and Algonquin Park.
Personal Services
Our location can offer both shower and laundry facilites if needed.
Coffee & Companionship
Coffee, tea and cookies are available on the days we are open; please feel free to join us when you are in the area.
Donations
Our office relies upon donations from individuals, companies and other community organizations so that it may continue to serve those in need. Practicial donations are needed throughout the year and may be made at any of the following locations:
